Lady in the church needs help moving furniture and boxes to help with an injured friends estate sale. If you have a truck, it would be especially helpful with some of the larger items.

Meals on Wheels

The meals on wheels ministry that our church members operate is in need of drivers and riders (especially males, but also females). Meals on Wheels operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday mornings delivering food to families and individuals who are in need. Largely it ministers to senior citizens in our community. It is a great opportunity for adults or students to serve their neighbors. Estate Sale (Job # H1)

A lady in our church needs help conducting an estate sale since her recent stroke. She is a widow and cannot move the boxes. It is important that she receive help quickly since she has had to move due to her medical condition.

Yard and House Work (Job # Y1)

This is a widowed lady who needs help taking care of some things around her home since her husband passed away. She lists the following:
• Trim shrubs
• Weed flower beds
• Blow leaves off of steps and waterfall (she has a blower)
• Change inside and outside light bulbs (she has a ladder, it will be needed)
• Some mowing & weed eating (she has a riding mower, but no weed eater

While you might not be able to help with all of these things, any help you might be able to give would be great.

Tree House

This is an ongoing need in our community. So many of the children in Hewitt don’t know of the love of Christ. Parents need a break from kids, and kids need a chance to play, learn, and be taught about Jesus. Each first Sunday of the month we go serve a Meadowpark Town Homes on Hewitt, Dr. We sing songs, play games, study the Bible, and enjoy delicious snacks. We constantly need adults, teens, and children who will play games, sing songs, or help with Bible study. We even need people who are just willing to bake cookies, cook hot dogs, or make punch. Contact the church office, or come up to the church at 3:30 the first Sunday of the month to help out.
